I can't get my content to show in OBS Studio

To livestream or record video of your Flipside content, Quest and Pico users will need Flipside Broadcaster, our free companion app, to cast their content to a PC along with any livestreaming or screen capturing software like OBS Studio.

Some users are running into issues when trying to add a Video Capture Device source in OBS Studio. This is a known issue with OBS Studio. If you are running into this, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open Flipside Broadcaster.
  2. In OBS Studio, instead of adding Video Capture Device as the source, add Game Capture as a source.
  3. In the Game Capture Properties window, as the Mode, select Capture specific window, then select Flipside Broadcaster as the Window.
  4. Now you should see Flipside Broadcaster in OBS studio and can start streaming or recording video!
