Handheld camera

 

The handheld camera enables you capture footage and photos in Flipside. It is attached to your right holster.

Recording handheld shots

When you grab the handheld camera, it will automatically become the active camera in your live edit mode output until you choose another camera position to be active or turn off the handheld camera.

Taking a photo

Trigger

 

To pick up the camera, grab it from your right holster by squeezing the grip/lower trigger and index trigger buttons.

To take a photo, let go of the index trigger button then squeeze it again.

To take a photo, squeeze the index trigger.

Extending/retracting the camera arm

There are two ways to extend and retract (zoom) the camera. You can use the buttons on the camera panel or by pressing forward/up or backwars/down on the joystick/thumbpad.

Retract Extend

 

Press the extend and retract buttons on the camera panel to move the arm away from or towards you. This will zoom the camera in and out.

Using the right hand joystick, press up to extend/zoom out on the camera and down on to retract/zoom in.

Using the right hand thumbpad, press up to extend/zoom out on the camera and down on to retract/zoom in.

Switching to selfie mode

Selfie mode

 

Press the switch button to toggle between regular and selfie mode.

Using the timer

Selfie mode

 

Press the timer button for a delay before the photo is automatically taken.

Deleting your photo

Delete

 

Press the delete button to delete your photo.

Sharing your photo

Facebook Twitter

 

Press the Facebook or Twitter buttons to share your photo.

Important note: Make sure you are logged into your Facebook and/or Twitter account in the default browser on your computer before sharing your photo.
